16.3. Top N View

The top n view shows top traffic occupants of your network. This also displays the amount of traffic occupied by the application along with type of traffic. You may also have a look at the percentage of the traffic occupied by the application in the complete network.

In this view you may get an insight on the bandwidth usage by each Web, Mail, FTP, HTTP and other protocols, by each host and Web, Mail, FTP, HTTP and other protocols and by each user and Web, Mail, FTP, HTTP and other protocols are displayed.

To visualize the data in top n view you need to specify the following:

  • Flow Technology: You may choose the flow technology from the drop down menu:

    • Neflow v5

    • Netflow v9

    • sFlow

  • Value for N: You may choose the value of N from the drop down menu:

    • 5

    • 10

    • 15

    • 20

    • Default value: 10

  • Time Span: You may choose the time span from the drop down menu:

    • Last 15 Minutes

    • Last 30 Minutes

    • Last Hour

    • This Hour

    • Last 6 Hours

    • Last 12 Hours

    • Last 24 Hours

    • Previous Day

    • Today
